The place was beautifully decorated, and the beds were very comfortable. Its location is excellent, with easy access to the mountain, other buses for day trips to the Snow Monkey park and Nozawa Onsen, as well as nearby restaurants.

got complimentary breakfasts with toast. the location was incredible - just next door to all the major restaurants as well as other bars. it also was to to the ski lifts.

It's right next to bus stops for day trips to the Snow Monkey park and Nozawa Onsen, plus there are eateries and ski slopes nearby. Guests can enjoy a delightful breakfast with a variety of options, including savoury fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, and pancakes to suit every taste.

The staff were friendly, and we had a great time in the recently refurbished units on level 2, which offered fantastic value.

I had a fantastic stay at Hakken By Active Life Madarao. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed and beautiful bathroom. The onsen was a highlight, offering a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The location was perfect for accessing the slopes and the surrounding area. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Madarao.

The rooms here are a great deal, especially because the beds are super comfy! the staff really knows their stuff too. 🌟 Plus, you can't beat the location - it's right near Chikuma River Rafting.

Cozy little spot with super friendly staff, though could be a bit more attentive to customers. the family room comes with its own bathroom, central heating, a private safe, and a TV with plenty of channels. 🌟

We found a hotel near the slopes with a decent breakfast and lovely staff. The people were conversational and helpful, and the location was relatively close to other establishments. Beds were comfortable and big, and the bathrooms were excellent. There were communal areas to mingle with guests from around the world, and the hot pool in the basement was perfect for relaxing.

The hotel lacked towel hanging capacity in the rooms, which was inconvenient.

We had an amazing stay here! The hotel staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Our rooms were clean and comfortable with great facilities such as a drying room for our ski equipment. The location was perfect, situated close to the ski lifts making transportation easy. We also enjoyed the games room and private Onsen.
